Ecostruct Panel Systems recycle all scrap Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) through CLAW Environmental. Claw Environmental are a Welshpool based plastics recycling specialist, recycling Plastic Codes 1-7.
CLAW Environmental are the only Western Australian Recycling Expanded Polystyrene Australia (REPSA) approved EPS recycler. Ecostruct Panels collect and bag all scrap EPS on sit in Kenwick with CLAW Environmental collecting the material when storage capacity is reached. CLAW then process the EPS, breaking panels into small pieces before compressing the material, increasing the average density from 10-12 kg/m3 to 350kg/m. 
As there are presently no manufacturing markets for EPS within Australia, EPS is shipped internationally. The material is used in the manufacturing of plastic goods ranging from floor panels through to coat hangers and picture frames.
By recycling through CLAW Environmental, Ecostruct Panels ensure that EPS scrap that would otherwise be a general waste item added to landfill sites is recycled and used in the manufacturing of recycled plastic goods.
